Hossein Tabriziani - M.D.

Dr. Tabriziani joined Balboa Nephrology Medical Group in 2018. He practices in the Balboa Institute of Transplantation (BIT) at Frost street clinic and Sharp Memorial Hospital; specializing in Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation and Kidney Diseases which includes hemodialysis patients at both Fresenius and DaVita Dialysis units.

Dr. Tabriziani is well known speaker and author of many peer review and original articles. He completed his Medical School at Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) with honors. He finished his Internal Medicine residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. He continued his education with fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension at Georgetown University in Washington, DC and later completed his fellowship in Kidney and Pancreas Transplant at University of California in San Francisco (UCSF). He was also appointed as the Chief Senior Fellow of Division of Nephrology and Hypertension during his fellowship at Georgetown University.

He love to spend his free time with friends and family and enjoy outdoor activities. He is a marathon runner and avid tennis player. He also enjoy playing classic guitar and reading in his spare time.
